Proceeding of Law Enforcement had immediately begun to after state was established and it always became one within the other.  It obvious that a whatsoever nation need to powerful army for protects the border and also necessity to vigorous law enforcement ensures peace and security its citizens after becoming a state. It is seen that a group which was elected from inside military structure response to security of society until the XX. century in Central Asia Turk States and States of Turk-Islam. In shortly, police had performed duty in the manner that abstract of military idea and company with military organizations in Turks. While this group was fighting with together army in war time, they had completed to each other as responsibility for supplying to homeland security in peace time. Therefore organizations which are established to provide security and public order, were known that has both judicial, administrative and military character in Turkish States.       
Present day of modern police organizations foundations had been laid in the Tanzminat Period of the Ottoman Empire. In this context,  the foundation of  Turkish Police History began to with date of  March 20 1845 "Police Ordinance of"  which has seventeen-point Police Regulations with the name and the regulations that led to the entry into force March 30, 1845 dated, "Proposals The General (General Paper)" starts with. However, it is certain that the date of establishment of Police Organizations go to the older. Hence we intent to open depth discussion history of the Turkish Police that showing a continuous development and change the from the modernization process until the today. 
The Board of Police History and Culture Research Center, within the scope of law enforcement history, plans to a number of symposiums about history of police, intelligence, security and public order in the coming years.  For this purpose, First International Symposium of Law Enforcement History will be held between 15 to 17 April 2016’s main theme will be The Historical Roots of Turkish Police in the Antalya. Participants’ accommodation and transportation costs shall be borne by the Institution. Those who wish to attend the Symposium are required to submit their abstracts composed of approximately maximum 250 words to the address poltarmer@pa.edu.tr or poltarmer@gmail.com The language of the symposium is Turkish and English. There will be simultaneous translation.
