Note: Participation for the Congress is free of charge, and the papers will be marked as “The Papers of those not attending the Congress will not be published in the Papers Book”. 

Rules for The Abstracts

Each abstract should consist of introduction, method and result. The abstracts should be written in Turkish and not exceed one page. The abstracts should be prepared to be fit into a standard page (A4), should not exceed 400-500 words in Times New Roman 12 font-size, preferably as a WORD document, and include at least 2 keywords/terms. Page margins should be set as 2.5 cm from right, left, top and bottom. The TITLE should be centred and the whole letters be written uppercase and bold. Following the title, the authors should be arranged through leaving one line blanking. No more than five authors are allowed in one paper. First, the author surname, next, the author name should be written and then institution, city and country information should be added. The name of the presenter for the paper should be marked by bold and italic. This person is to be sent all of the information about the presentation. Following the names of the authors, the abstract should be written in a single line spacing without kerning the text. No other slide, reference or attachment should be sent together with the abstract; no title, address or code should be typed. All numbers should be written in standard numbers, except for the numbers required to be written by words at the beginning of the sentence. Standard abbreviations and symbols should be used. They should be described when the abbreviations are first used. Basic tables and computer designed and black ink graphics could be added so long as they fit into the reserved space. It should be stated whether the presentation will be verbal or poster. The abstract should be carefully checked before submission. No further change will be accepted.

The abstract should be prepared through using standard word processor software, as prescribed. Each file submitted should include abstract on the first page and author information (full name, postal address, phone and fax numbers, and e-mail addresses) available in Abstract Submission Form on the next page. The abstracts should be sent to bildiriler@karayolutrafiksempozyumu.com until the end of business day of September 1, 2015, the latest. Each paper should be submitted for once, electronically. Abstracts sent through fax or e-mail will not be accepted. Please contact with Communication Office if you do not receive any reply from the office within ten days after submission. 
All of the papers submitted before the last date will be evaluated by the arbiters in terms of academic content and conformity for the symposium. The Program Committee will try to include the paper either as a poster or verbal presentation for the Symposium, taking the author preference into consideration. Yet, it is not certain for papers to be included in symposium program.

The official presentation and session language of the Symposium will be Turkish and English.
